Starting with this one.
The Netherlands' biggest podcast publisher joined Podimo in 2022 with a name audiences already loved. The rebrand's job was the hardest kind of brand work: preserving that local equity while rooting the identity in Podimo's global system.
Dag en Nacht started in 2016 as two friends making podcasts and grew into the country's biggest podcast publisher, with millions of monthly listens and a slate of national favorites, before Podimo acquired it in 2022. Which set up the classic acquisition dilemma: absorb the brand into the master identity and burn a decade of local equity, or leave it untouched and let the system fragment, one exception per acquisition.
The rebrand takes the third path. A refreshed identity, documented in a full brandbook, that keeps Dag en Nacht's local voice and name while building its visual foundations on Podimo's brand system, so the publisher reads as unmistakably itself and unmistakably part of the family at once.
It's the Brand Systems lane doing its least glamorous, most valuable work: the master brand proving it can hold not just the sub-brands Podimo builds, like Studios, but the brands it buys. Today Dag en Nacht sits alongside Tonny Media under Podimo Netherlands as the country's biggest podcast network, operating under the Podimo Studios umbrella.
